The St. Veit an der Glan retail park is located in a high-traffic area at the entrance to the municipality of the same name. The aim of the redesign was to give the building its own identity and create a clear but appealing appearance.
The forecourt area is enhanced by a new roof construction, which responds to the basic shape of the building with its triangular surfaces. The intermingling of transparent and opaque roof surfaces evokes rhythm and lightness, while the generous use of varnished natural wood and a lighting concept with indirect and direct lighting create a cosy atmosphere.
The Viennese office Smertnik Kraut is responsible for the architecture.
