The new Merkurcity has been developed into a top shopping centre for southern Lower Austria and Central Burgenland with over 50 retail, restaurant and service businesses. The shopping centre also sets new standards in terms of architecture. The Viennese company Smertnik & Kraut is responsible for the design. With eight cafés and restaurants, the new Merkurcity has also become a city of enjoyment. The shopping centre also houses MFitness, the largest and most attractive gym in the region.
